A further follow-up consisted of two further episodes - The Suspicions of Mr Whicher: Beyond the Pale and The Suspicions of Mr Whicher: The Ties that Bind. The first was broadcast on 7 September 2014 and the second on 14 September 2014. Considine later announced on Twitter that the show would not be continuing.
