We've rounded up what stood out as the best of our "Best of 2018" lists this December to share what you voted to the top over the year. Some things are clear contenders for the overall best of 2018. To All the Boys I've Loved Before was voted Best Romantic Comedy, Best Netflix Original Movie, Best Movie Directed by a Woman, and Best Teen Movie of the year. Another movie that swept the lists was Avengers: Infinity War - which was voted Best Sci-Fi Movie of 2018, Best Sequel of 2018, and even Best Thing That Was a Thing in 2018.

Sweeping that many lists is impressive, but the total voters for all of those categories combined pales in comparison to the voters (you!) who placed Ariana Grande's "thank u, next" at the top of both Best Pop Song and Best Breakup Song. Rap experts and fans also dominated the votes, catapulting Eminem's 2018 work to the top of every rap list. Kamikaze was voted Best Rap Album and even Best Album, while "Lucky You" was voted Best Rap Song, and Eminem himself was voted Best Rapper.
