Disney Towns Where We'd Love To Go Trick Or Treating On Halloween

Voting Rules

Vote up the DIsney towns you'd visit for some tricks and some treats.

What's the best place to go trick or treating? Is it your neighborhood? Maybe it's the next town over? Perhaps trick-or-treating involves driving around and visiting the homes of your friends and family?

Putting on a costume and venturing out on Halloween to enjoy trick-or-treating is something many kids (and adults) look forward to every year. Finding the best candy, looking at Halloween decorations, and just taking in all of the costumes makes for a really enjoyable time.

But have you ever wondered what it would be like to spend Halloween in a Disney town from a TV show or movie? There are so many to choose from, including the worlds of The Little Mermaid, Frozen, and even DuckTales. All of these and more are now streaming on Disney+. We have to admit, there are a lot of places we wouldn't mind visiting for tricks and treats! What about you?

    Halloweentown (Halloweentown)

The name itself lends itself to trick-or-treating: Halloweentown. And, considering how much of the town is populated by ghosts, witches, ghouls, and other Halloween-focused residents, walking through the streets of Halloweentown would make for a holiday to remember.

Absolute musts to visit would, of course, be Cromwell Manor and the ice cream shop. And never count out stumbling upon some sort of magic that could literally conjure up the best candy you've ever tasted. Candy corn for all!

  • Monstropolis (Monsters Inc.)

As the home to monsters like James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski, Monstropolis is the setting for the Monsters Inc. universe. Capturing children crying powered Monstropolis until Silly and Mike figured out laughter was even more efficient.

In this context, Monstropolis is the perfect place for our favorite monsters to hand out Snickers - and lots of them. We kind of think Mike Wazowski may hand out Mike & Ikes, too, just because he can.

  • Kokaua Town (Lilo & Stitch)

A fictional town in Hawaii, Kolaua Town gets an unexpected visitor when Stitch arrives. Maybe he's just the original trick-or-treater, all dressed up for the occasion. Or maybe he's just the perfect counterpart to Lilo in a town bustling with an arcade, a coffee hut, and all kinds of shops.

Lilo lives with her sister, Nani, and when their doorbell rings, it seems likely they'd enthusiastically greet you with open arms.

In terms of treats, we picture the trio of Lilo, Nani, and Stitch all passing out 3 Musketeers.

  • Belle's Village (Beauty And The Beast)
    Photo: Disney+

Bookish Belle isn't really aware of what the villagers say about her at first, but the town is certainly alive with activity as she wanders through it. An egg man, a baker, a bookseller, and a host of other townsfolk are all perfect to hit up for candy on Halloween. Belle would naturally hand out Smarties, while Gaston and his buddies offer up Dum Dum suckers, of course.

If all else fails, trick-or-treaters could venture out to the Beast's castle. Maybe there's a way for magic to return and make all of the furniture and other wares come alive for Halloween!

  • San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6)
    Photo: Disney+

As a portmanteau for San Francisco and Tokyo, San Fransokyo in Big Hero 6 is where Eastern and Western cultures meet. It's also a city where technology and science exist everywhere you look, alongside a comic book shop, a burger joint, and a host of other places to visit.

Granted, there are some less-than-ideal places to venture into in San Fransokyo, especially at night, but think of how much innovation could do for the candy haul.

New and intriguing sugar sources aside, a little treat along the lines of a tech-heavy toy would be fun to pick up on Halloween. But there are always staples like Nerds out there, too.

  • Arendelle (Frozen)

Frozen's Arendelle is a kingdom instead of a town or city, but it's still a settlement that would be a whole of of fun to visit. Remote and restored to order by Elsa and Anna, Arendelle is safe, clean, and friendly. This would make a night out trick-or-treating ideal for adults and children alike.

The center of Arendelle is the castle and since it's the duty of a monarch to provide for their subjects, that would be the first stop on any Halloween night out. York Peppermint Candies and Junior Mints would be a staples, right?
