Relationship aren't easy, especially not in real life. People are complicated, lives are messy, and being together requires a ton of commitment. That's why it can be so satisfying to forget about our own complex love lives for a minute and distract ourselves with the romantic relationships of our favorite fictional characters. In television, anything can happen. Love doesn't have to be difficult. Happily ever after can exist. Unfortunately, however, even in television things don't always end up the way we'd like. Watchworthy fans are talking about the TV characters that should've ended up together, and honestly, it's bringing up way too many emotions.
Brienne of Tarth and Tormund Giantsbane from Game of Thrones. She didn't deserve Jaime Lannister or his BS. Jaime spent most of their shared screen time insulting her for her skills and looks, telling her to get comfortable with the idea of being assaulted when they were taken hostage, making her feel uncomfortable on multiple occasions, and then using her and leaving her in the end. Tormund freaking admired Brienne for everything she did and the way she looked and he might have come on too strong, but he didn't BS her or talk poorly about her and he genuinely respected her ability and character, and I thought it was funny how goofy he was around her when he was trying to impress her.
